A quiet and serious man, Joseph Zeo swore to serve justice for the victims of violent crimes. Zeo served as a lieutenant in the NYPD before being recruited into the Bureau of Investigation.

Zeo has the sixth sense with cases, but when it comes to women, Joseph was completely clueless. Some ladies find that attractive, but it just made his life utterly difficult. His inability to express his feelings kept Anais Nin at bay, while she continued to care for Josee, her deceased sister's and Joseph's daughter. Zeo could only light a cigarette whenever he felt like holding onto her.

He accepted the fate of an investigator, to face death and danger at every twist and turn. Zeo just hoped those he cared about would stay far enough so not to get hurt.
