I became a detective after my mothers death. She was a good woman but she held many secrets. She would never talk about her father or her childhood. After her death I began to find out why.
It all started when I found a journal written by my grandfather, Richard Parker. It was his personal journal but it mentioned his work. I never knew it but he was a private detective. And from what I have learned he was a good one. Unfortunately he was too good for some people in town. He helped solve many cases and gathered many enemies and friends. It was those enemies that caused his death and I believe the death of my mother too.
I have given up my former life and decided to follow in my grandfathers footsteps. One day I hope to bring to justice those who hurt my family.
