Detective Biography

-----------------------------------------------------------------
"I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can play together all night."
------------------------------------------------------------------

Brasco started his career working for Customs in the Barcelona Guardia Civil. Renown within the force for his ability to read people, he had a lucrative sideline as a semi-pro poker player where he gained the nickname "Snake-eyes".

Not everyone who came to the table was prepared to play fair...

After an anonymous tip-off to his boss, an early morning raid on his home ensued. Brasco was arrested by the very people he considered colleagues and friends. Whilst in custody, his fiancee was brutally murdered as she slept in her own bed. The perpetrators left the body with a signature 'neck-tie' as a warning to others...

He had been set up by Colombian contraband trafficers.

The exact circumstances of how the goods came to be on his property remain a mystery to this day... the 'Powers That Be' were determined to pin the crime on Brasco.

Forced to prove his innocence in the face of overwhelming personal turmoil, Brasco played out the hand he'd been dealt and won through. In getting himself acquitted, he not only uncovered a international syndicate of smugglers, but an inate instinct for detection.

The trail of filth lead right to the top echelons of the Guardia and caused a national outcry. The resignations that followed created a power vacuum and some say this was a catalyst for civil war that led to General Franco's Fascist Party seizing control of Spain.

Disillusioned with his treatment by the Guardia and annoyed by the sleaze he had uncovered in spades within the government, Brasco joined the Anarchist movement. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to defeat the Facists, who then took control of his country. He took the difficult decision to leave Catalonia with a heavy heart, and set up as a PI in NY. This turned out to be a diamond idea.

He cut his cards in the Big Apple, then cashed in all his chips to help set up The Intelligence Agency, an internationally acclaimed club of ace detectives who have no limits.

Brasco always keeps bullets in his pocket.
