Detective Biography

A poor kid from southside Chicago, too restless for school and with a wife to feed, Ray and his new wife moved to NY (to get away from her rich, dissaproving parents) and he signed up with the NYPD. A patrol officer years, worn rough by the rotten apple, Ray took on a hard shady edge. His wife left for greener pastures with the assitant DA but Ray is still pounding the pavement, fighting the good fight and putting away the bad guys.

His past with the police leaves him with a few strings to pull, a few enemies on his tail and a certian distain for the red tape of laws and procedures. A dirty case, where bribes and blackmail reached all the way to the Govenor's mantion left Ray dissolusioined with police work and the took his half-time pension and left the force.

Ray is tall and skinny with dishwater blond hair standing up in short spikes. He has the kind of energy most folks grow out of when they're five and a sweet tooth to match.
